Terms of use

Tambuli is a public, citizen-maintained record of local public issues in the Philippines. It is run independently. It is not a government service, not affiliated with any local government unit, and not a substitute for contacting one.

Not an emergency service. For fires, crimes, medical emergencies, or anything needing an immediate response, call your local emergency hotline or barangay. Filing here does not summon anyone.

We cannot promise that any report will be acted on, forwarded, or resolved. Marking a report Sent to LGU means it was forwarded for awareness — not that any office has accepted, scheduled, or completed work.

Reports are written by members of the public. We do not independently verify most of them, and information here may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Treat it as community-contributed, not as an official record.

The service is provided as-is. We may change, pause, or discontinue it, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

When you post here, you confirm that:

• The photo is yours to share and shows the issue you're describing.
• You are describing a genuine public issue, honestly.
• You have not deliberately included people's faces, plate numbers, house numbers, or anything else identifying a private individual.
• You are not filing on someone else's behalf without their knowledge.

By posting, you allow Tambuli to display your report publicly and to forward it to the relevant local government office. You keep ownership of your photo.

• Personal attacks, harassment, or accusations aimed at named individuals
• Anything that puts a person at risk of harm or exposure
• Deliberately false or misleading reports
• Campaign material, advertising, or anything unrelated to a local public issue
• Automated or bulk submissions
• Content that isn't yours to post

Reports and updates that break these rules are removed. Accounts that do it repeatedly are blocked. Anyone can flag something for review, and anything raising a safety concern is handled ahead of everything else.

A guest account is created for you automatically. You can change your display name freely; your username can be changed once every 30 days, so a contributor's public track record stays followable.

You may ask for your account and reports to be deleted at any time. A report already forwarded to a local government office may exist in that office's records, which we can't reach.

To the extent the law allows, Tambuli and its operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the platform, from reliance on anything posted here, or from action or inaction by any third party including a local government unit.

Nothing here limits rights you have under Philippine law that cannot be waived.
